Shipping & Frequently Asked Questions

Here is the place to answer any queries you may have about our online shop, it is very important to us that we share how and why we do the things we do.

Shipping our art materials and accessories.

We are a small family business and therefore, if we are sending art materials out to you, we have to charge you postage.
We use Royal Mail. Why? We want to provide you with the best service and get your order to you quickly and safely. Oh, and our dispatch department lives next to the Post Office!

Why do we send items ‘Signed For’? We want to be able to track our parcels and absolutely ensure that it reaches you safely. There is greater information regarding our shipping policy in our Terms and Conditions document.

Why do we send items 2nd class?
In our experience the majority of parcels arrive within 48 hours and also because it keeps the cost down for you.

How long will my order take to arrive? We are a small team and we like to make sure that your order is correct, packed up appropriately and arrives safely, therefore we cannot promise the same speedy service as a much larger company. Please know that we have your order and we will get it to you as soon as we are able, we say 4 working days but are often faster than this. If you are ordering something for a class or event, please allow plenty of time for it to reach you.

At the moment, while we get established with what we do, we are not able to offer a flat rate for shipping overseas but rather than this be the end of the conversation, if you live outside of the UK, send us an email and let’s chat about how we can create a bespoke package to be sent out to you. We certainly don’t want to lose your custom.

We understand that postage isn’t cheap but we only charge a flat fee and so the more you order, the better value it will be. Shop with your friends and share the cost!

Terms and Conditions.

Ts and Cs are never the most exciting things to read, but it is important to make sure that you know our policies and how we operate. In the list below you will find the answers to our most commonly asked questions but you may like to read through the legal bit which you can find HERE.

Packaging

One of the most important aspects of what we do is to be accountable for the products and services we offer. Therefore, we use either recycled or recyclable packaging, our tape will break down in your compost heap and our printed products even use biodegradable ink. We haven’t got everything right yet but we are doing what we can to improve.
